Ja! Das Soiro Bizarro was ein el nacho grande success! It came! It was there! It went away...Ein 2-night extravaganza set in a 1950s diner/living room that featured some auf mein favorite bands (Barmitvah Bros, Pony da Look, Genevieve et Matthieu), performance artists (Big Gold Hoops & Kosher Dill Spears), dancers (Jodee, Sarah...). Lee-Lee Lamour rocked out as the waitress hostess deluxe and short films blew the audience away as they were featured on a gigantic 50s television.

This week! Too much fun for a single night - so there are two! Advance tickets ($8) are available at L'Oblique, Atom Heart Records, and Casa Del Popolo. Otherwise, it's $10 at the door. Night One features Big Gold Hoops & Kosher Dill Spears, the Barmitzvah Brothers, and Lucil. Night Two has performances by Pony Da Look, Genevieve et Matthieu, and Lucil. There will also be some short films, bake sales, and bicycles. And a host.

Guten tag sommer freundlings! I'm finally back in Montreal after oh-so-crazy und not-so-lazy Aquabats tour...Sun, fun, new fans und alt, lots of biscuits and butter, heatrash...oh, the list could go on!

This is l'il mannequin child who sported some Aquabats googles/cap throughout the tour. I like this one because it makes the Ascot room in Minneapolis look all religious.
