Montrealers, take note! Lucil will be playing a few songs and giving out delicious muffins free at Atom Heart Records - tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 28. The event is from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Atom Heart: 364B Sherbrooke E, (514) 843-8484 (near St. Denis St.).
Lucil's song La Vocabulaire is on the public charts at Bandeapart.fm, a great French-language radio show - please go vote for it!

Much fun was had on Lucil's teeny 5-day tour in Montreal and around Ontario - much, much fun. Lots of new songs from Tales From The Pantry made their debut, and a few impromptu songs about being hammered in the Hammer, Gandalf and chocolate were tested and will probably never appear again. Here's shot of Lucil's packed CD launch at Cabaret in Montreal, during her set with the Garden Gnomes and Sarah the flowah.
Maritimes, you're next! Lucil plays Sackville NB, Fredericton, Charlottetown, Halifax and Saint John starting Sept. 29, and then it's time for the big tour with Kid Koala. For all the dates, check shows.
For U.S. and international fans, both Tales From The Pantry and Hosemusik are now available online through Other Music.
Lucil's new album, Tales From The Pantry, is now available and you will love it! Produced by Lucil's pal Terence Bernardo (of awesome Brooklyn band White Mud Freeway), with art by Parker Jacobs - another pal of Lucil - it looks awesome and sounds huge and amazing. There's some songs you'll know from live shows and others you've never heard before. Try out these mp3s.
The record is available everywhere in Canada and the U.S. (but you might have to get them to order it - here's some info). We're working on online ordering as you read this, but if you're really desperate to hear it, you can order it directly from Lucil.
In the meantime, hope you like the new look of the site. Things will keep changing over the next few weeks, with more fun stuff on the way.
