Freundlings! What an exciting time this is! Last Sunday evening I was very surprised when my alter ego accepted the SODEC International Award on my behalf (she even wore snakeskin high heels for the occasion...) at the Montreal MIMI Awards. Quelle belle suprise! Thanks to all of you who voted and all of those at Greenland, SOPREF/Local Dist, MIMI's, SODEC, and CBC who are supporters of independent music. Vive la musique libre! I now have a brand new vocal mic and some prize money - all the dried apricots I can eat!
Magical things are on the horizon freundlings...the new album will be ready for the fall when I'm touring mit Kid Koala! From October-November 2003 we're going on a North American Theatre Tour so watch aut for dates und things on das website. Also, the 2nd Annual Soiro Bizarro has been booked at Sala Rossa for July 25-26 - two nights of music, mayhem und absurdity (but mostly music...).

Now recovering, briefly, from the madness of the Lucil/Fembots show in Wakefield and the oddness of the CMW showcase in Toronto.
