Wow! I have finally recovered from the weekend of fun! Freundlings...last Friday night in Ottawa was sehr amazing mit Fembots und The Glads. A triad auf musik...Danke to all the neue hosefans, dancers und screamers! Lucil couldn't believe das rauckus response and is very excited about the upcoming Black Sheep Inn show mit Fembots on February 21st in Wakefield.
Saturday, Jan. 25th is a night I shall never forget! Montreal's Sala Rossa housed a full bill of hoseworthy action - Parka3 popped it out with their tone deaf high school stories and minimalist key-musik, Fembots bled murder ballads to our mournful ears and caused us to swoon with their neue CD, and I premiered my Beatnikhosen - black, suede, und very serious.
Spontaneous "Rock you like a Hurricane" cover by Neil and birthday boy improv. with Phil were red hot moments! We even had late night surprises - Brazilian drag show supreme (merci, les gars-filles!) and my cousin's R&R band Chunder (their first ever show!). Expect more unexpected at this summer's Soiro Bizarro festival.

Happy Neue Jahr freundlings! Lucil is getting ready for many fun uber-projects in 2003...After the review in das Globe und Mail on December 14th remaining "Hosemusik" CD's were all sold so ein second pressing is happening as I type this! Also, I played a sehr fun show at Zaphod's in Ottawa on das 27th mit Casey Comeau & The Halfmilers, und will return to das Kapitol city on January 24th for a Dominion Tavern show mit Fembots. Not to miss vill be das Jan. 25th show at Sala Rossa in Montreal where Parka 3, Fembots, Lucil und mein freundling from afar Krystal Skaul will make her debut appearance.
This month I will be releasing a sehr special limited edition release auf neuely recorded material...und it will only be available at one auf mein live shows. I'm also getting prepped for mein first Euro mini-tour! Right now it is sehr mini - ein show - so if you have any freundlings in Europe who can point mich in das richtig direction let me know! I can hardly wait to play Heidelberg outside under a wooden tent und starry sky...
