Pop Montreal, Le Swimming: The kick-off night for Pop Montreal was hit hard with a double femme fatale bill. Deemed "ladies night" by the Montreal Gazette, Sept. 26th was a raging success! Kinnie Starr worked freestyle mystical music magic and Lederhosen Lucil - accompanied by absurdist dancers and an origami boy delight - filled the evening with song, spoken word, paper cranes and laughter. Only at the start of Lucil's set, when Dr. PSR was needed on stage to attend to Lucil's wounded PSR-180, did a worried hush fall over the crowd. The PSR immaculately recovered and dancing and hosing was had and new freundlings were made!
