Cabaret, Montreal mit Le Tigre: It was a Lucil dream come true! Warming up the excited crowd for New York based Le Tigre at the Cabaret was an uber delight. Sticking to standard Lucil-fare but opting out of treat-giving (she was so excited she forgot to distribute the apricot bars...) she hosed her way through a whip-quick set and then disappeared into the band chamber (snacking on veggies, dip und vasser) and let alt. ego Krista rock her socks off to Le Tigre's hour-long set. JD, Jo, & Kathleen are now proud owners of Lucil star-cuffs and took Hosemusik back to La Grande Pomme.

St. John's, Nfld - Down an alley and into a Hobbitesque tavern Lucil crept, emerging in her Eastest coast glory to the glee of the Ship Inn's motley crew. After being heckled by some golden agers (sweet to be sure) and a Laura Secord lookalike complete with cameo brooch, Lucil burst into song and had the crowd giggling along. During "Cutlery" two gentlemen staged a wrestling match (to Lucil's glee and encouragement) and managed to mangle a chair and laugh themselves silly in the process. Dried apricot bars were awarded to each. Headlining act Lizband was a hardcore wundercoastal rock treat and her alt. ego got to enjoy their X-treme stage presence.
Lucil hopes to rock the rock sometime in the near future.

Halifax, NS - Fresh out of the Camry Lucil emerged and staggered up the stairs to Ginger's Tavern, a granite brewery haus. Heads were turning and brew was burning as Lucil wowed the seaworthy audience and handed out inflatable Quebec beach balls to keep them afloat during her antics. Because the audience was so much fun she decided to "build a song" with them - a rock ballad about sex and marine land. What the? Lucil loved the fax and the fax seemed smitten to be bitten.
